WP2 – Creation of Staff Training Week Courses
Objective
Work Package 2 focused on the development and implementation of Staff Training Week courses, with the aim of strengthening the capacities of administrative staff in designing, organising and delivering staff training programmes within their respective institutions.
Through a combination of practical training, job-shadowing and digital resource development, WP2 supported partner universities in gaining the knowledge and skills needed to create and implement their own Staff Training Week programmes.
Main Activities
1. Development and Implementation of Staff Training Week Courses
Two Staff Training Week courses were developed and implemented in two phases:
An experimental phase that introduced partner universities to the concept, structure and organisation of Staff Training Week courses. It also provided a job-shadowing opportunity for administrative staff from Nantes University, Kyiv National University (KNU), the University of Tirana (UT) and the University of Crete (UoC).

Job-shadowing activities enabled administrative staff from Nantes University, KNU, the University of Tirana and the University of Crete to observe and learn from the experience of Linnaeus University and the University of Murcia in planning, designing and organising Staff Training Week programmes.
This practical exchange contributed to building institutional capacities and supporting partners in developing their own Staff Training Week schemes.
3. Digitalisation of Resources and Materials
To ensure the sustainability and accessibility of the project results, training resources and materials were collected, developed and digitalised. These included:
- Articles, PDF documents and presentations;
- Useful links to European Union resources;
- Materials used during the Staff Training Weeks;
- Six PowerPoint/Word templates for educational materials provided by the partners;
- MP4 recordings of Staff Training Week lectures, where available.
All resources were prepared in English and made available through the online repository on the project website, supporting their continued use and adaptation by partner institutions.
Expected Impact and Results
WP2 contributed to strengthening the expertise of partner universities in designing and organising Staff Training Week courses. It also facilitated the exchange of institutional practices, encouraged cooperation among administrative staff and provided reusable digital resources and templates to support the future development of staff training programmes.
