EU-GaNoM Participation in the EARMA Annual Conference

Utrecht, The Netherlands | 5–7 May 2026

As part of the dissemination activities of the EU-GaNoM, Mr. William Kutz and Mr. Anthony Scully participated in the Annual Conference of the European Association of Research Managers and Administrators (EARMA), held in Utrecht, the Netherlands, from 5 to 7 May 2026.

During the conference, the representatives engaged with research managers, grant advisors, and institutional delegates from across Europe, presenting the objectives, achievements, and ongoing activities of the EU-GaNoM project. Particular attention was given to the Staff Training Weeks developed within the project framework, highlighting their role in strengthening the professional capacities of research support staff and fostering international cooperation among higher education and research institutions.

The conference provided an excellent opportunity for informal networking and targeted dissemination. Through individual discussions with delegates, the project team introduced the EU-GaNoM approach and explored possibilities for future collaboration and participation in upcoming training activities.

Among the professionals expressing interest in the project were representatives from several European institutions, including:

  • The Cyprus Institute, Cyprus
  • University of Iceland, Iceland
  • Technological University of the Shannon, Ireland
  • Örebro University, Sweden

Information materials and follow-up communications have been shared with interested participants to further promote the concept of Staff Training Weeks and to expand the visibility and impact of the EU-GaNoM project across the European research management community.

Participation in the EARMA Annual Conference represents an important milestone in the project's dissemination strategy, contributing to the wider recognition of EU-GaNoM and supporting the development of a sustainable network of research management professionals throughout Europe.
